What is Fuyo?
Fuyo is a (soon to be) former Vtuber from a Vtuber agency that got bought out!
The person behind the character, surprisingly, got to keep the IP, and now she will use it for other projects instead of keeping on livestreaming as her regularly.
You can call Fuyo just a Β«characterΒ» post graduation.Why make that decision to graduate the character, instead of keeping on streaming as Fuyo regularly?
There's a lot to this, but the most important reason being that I never expected to be able to keep the IP, I created Fuyo to be a highly marketable character for an agency, not something I could be forever. (At the end of the day, I knew there was a chance of the agency going kaput, so I went for something I liked, yet didn't fully relate to, so as to not be completely devastated, should I ever graduate).
I was always going to leave with or without the IP sooner or later, whether the agency collapsed, I got fired, or eventually wanted to leave for whatever reason. That's just corpo VTubing.
As much as I was hoping it'd last for longer, I went in knowing that, as much as I'd grow to cherish the character, I'd always go back.
I'm ready to close this chapter and move on, and I hope everyone understands.Does this mean the person behind Fuyo HATES HER VIEWERS AND DOESN'T WANT THEM AROUND ANYMORE? UEEEE
Nyo, I truly love the lucky charms forever, cherish all the good times, and I hope we can keep creating memories and having fun outside of the Fuyo world.Why did you choose to take the IP instead of signing up with the agency that bought your previous agency, like some of your friends?
1. I've had enough of the corpo life, I don't identify with a lot of it, or need it.
2. One of the reasons I had for joining corpo life was being part of a gen. My gen collapsed lol.
3. I believe I'll be able to keep pursuing my passions outside of this environment.
4. I wouldn't be able to take the IP for myself if I joined, they would own Fuyo, likely forever, and I wouldn't be able to use her after I leave for projects. Since I created her for the previous agency, it felt right to take the IP.
5.The deal to take her was ok enough, and to me it was a way better option than the staying deal for multiple reasons, many of which I'm not allowed to disclose.
6. I HATE TH- POWWill you keep in contact with your kouhais, senpais and genmates, etc? And collab?
Yea, I'll keep in contact with the genuine friends I made, and hopefully hangout, but we are all very busy people. I love them all and I'd do anything for them, no matter if I'm their coworker or not.Ok but do you plan on streaming as Fuyo? What about the Youtube channel?
Maybe as a one-off roleplay thing from time to time. For now, the channel itself will get a couple of videos for a year, maybe a couple streams, and then we'll see. I can't use it for the things I want for now.
I don't plan on deleting anything, so please don't worry too much.What about Youtube Memberships?

Naw, money is the least of my concerns, believe it or not lol also the corpo in question is aware of my decisions. As I said, memberships and ad revenue will stay up.
